Project Ohana with the cg at batam for 2 days 1 night! Had fun playing with the kids and painting the orphanage we visited. Actually painting was more fun, except for the damn hot sun..
We set off on thursday, then went to the orphanage which was kinda at a ulu place. It was actually awkward cos the kids were just staring at us. Then we split into painting and playing w kids team. And i was in the playing team. Damn happy please, cos i get to see those cute kids omg. But then theres communication barrier, so i dint know how to approach them. And i kinda got bored since i sucked at playing with them.
So i went out to help the painting ppl. Painting damn fun sia. But i had to stand on a broken ladder, scary like shit lol. But gt ppl hold lah, still scary anyway. Painted till i had paint all over my face, shirt and hair LOL. Actually the hardest part of painting is cleaning lol. I mean, after painting already so cui, still need clean, wah. We cleaned up in the end, and even managed to finish earlier, so we played games. And they had forfeits. I was like watching a concert, those kids are really talented omg. Beatbox, singing, everything. They are not very shy too. Actually i think we kinda screwed up their orphanage (esp the table omg its damn ugly), but we had fun LOL.
Cg bonding was erm not very successful cos everyone was half dead hahaha. But think we actually bonded more during meals? Although theres still segregation between the guys and girls lol. Shared a room with nicole and ruzhen, and there was only 2 beds, so we called for an extra bed without knowing the fee oops haha. But anyw we settled it by saying we dint know we had to pay so we just asked them to remove it xD almost got ourseleves into deep shit, $38.50 for a bed omg. Ended up nicole slept on the couch cos she wanted to lolol idek why.
The second day was just debrief and presentation. How i wished we stayed a little more longer and had shopping or smth ); they said last year second day was shopping but this year like shit no have sigh. Okay but still not bad lah ahhaa.
